How to Decorate a Kid’s Room that Can be Easily Changed as They Grow

Decorating a room for a child is so much fun! However, redoing that room two years later, not so much.  Over the years I have learned how to decorate a kid’s room that can be easily changed as they grow. This bathroom went from a grown-up teen’s bathroom with black and white damask accents to a Frozen fantasy room for around $100.00.  The best part, when she out-grows it in two years it is all easily changeable.  The wall color can stay and the vinyl can easily peel off the wall. Cricut is the Secret Before Cricut, I used to create specialized rooms with paint and stencils.  Let me tell…

I was inspired to make these cute DIY Disney glitter ornaments by Happiness is Homemade.   Visit her site for full instructions.  What appealed the most to about this idea was the flat service, which makes it super easy to adhere the vinyl without bubbles!  Who doesn’t love super easy? I’ll have to try that the next time around. How to Make…

Getting Ready for a Disney Trip

My girls and I are total Disney fanatics.  We live in Central California and make the trek to Disneyland at least once a year.  I usually make us matching shirts for the trip, but this time I made us each a different shirt.  I love the classic Minnie and Mickey theme. So I made the shirt below for myself. I found the most amazingly soft shirts at Hobby Lobby.  They are a little bit more than their standard shirts but definitely worth the price.  They are a jersey blend not 100% cotton.  They are $8.99 but their shirts are always 30% off.  In my opinion, they are a steal at…
